Provider Spotlight

Life Care Wellness is a 20-clinician group practice offering individual therapy, child and adolescent therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy at office locations in Glen Ellyn, Sycamore, and the Jefferson Park neighborhood in northwest Chicago, Illinois.

The practice is well known in the Chicago area for its body-based approach to treating addiction and trauma, as well as promoting wellness. Many Life Care Wellness therapists are certified in Somatic Experiencing and other body-based therapies such as EMDR, Yoga Therapy, and Mindfulness. Owner and principal therapist, Rhonda Kelloway, LCSW, SEP, brought this body-based focus to the practice from her long experience using EMDR and with assisting Somatic Experiencing training worldwide.

Life Care Wellness therapists consider the whole person and treat the mind, body, and spirit. They also provide Christian counseling (on request), life coaching, medication management for adult clients, and divorce and family mediation services.

The practice is in network with PPO plans of Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, and United/Optum, and is in network with Tricare and Medicare, as well. Life Care has been a BSS client for over 3 years.
